Don’t get me started on the your/you’re or there/their/they’re.

Writing is not an elite club and blogging has opened writing up to a mass audience. The way some people go on about making everything perfect amuses me. It’s like not letting people take part in sports because they are not the best at it (ok I feel the English cricket team should be banned for life but that’s on the grounds of cruelty to the English public and showing us up in front of the whinging Aussies).

As for the comment from Roseski “Bad grammar is such an annoyance to me! Maybe it’s a blogger thing… We write, therefore we like writing, therefore we know how to write… therefore bad writing/grammar is BAD!A man who cannot txt without basic grammar/punctuation is not worth replying to. FACT.”
I think someone might be heading into Stalinist territory – Will Roseski advocate rounding up anyone he/she feels does not meet his/her standards and cut their hand off to ensure they do not offend his/her sensitive eyes again, with all there bad writing and grammar. In which case should Roseski not cut off his/her own hands for using ‘txt’?, after all it’s bound to upset someone out there. As for “We write, therefore we like writing, therefore we know how to write” that had me in stitches. You are more than welcome to come to see the BlackLOG, you are more then welcome to criticise it for not meeting your high standards, just don’t expect me to worry about it. I Blog because I want to, it does not make me a good writer, I amuse a number of friends and the odd stranger (sometimes not just for bad spelling), that is more then enough for me…….

I feel sorry that a lot of talented creative people are held back from writing because of elitist attitudes.

I’m tired stressed and hungover. Leave myself alone.
