The latest news indicates that the Tories are three-line whipping to vote against the legislation, and so are the Lib Dems, which just leaves Labour voting for. I can understand them <a href="http://dungeekin.blogspot.com/2009/01/government-to-revise-mp-expenses.html" rel="nofollow">not wanting transparency</a> - after all, I doubt they'd want Mandelson's expense claims made public! D This seems to be creating a lot of interest, which can only be a good thing.
