Bugger it

Last night, lying in bed, suffering with flu *attishhhcooo* I had a great idea for a blog post. I sketched out what I would write, quotes I would use, little amusing turns of phrase.

Shall I write this down?

I thought, as my eyes drooped.

Naaaa. I’ll remember.

Dammit. Trust me to have confidence in my brain.

I’d forget my name if it weren’t written down on my marriage certificate!! Hope you are feeling better soon.

I think I have a novel or two floating around my bedroom. Sometimes I even remember to put a notepad nearby, but that would be a little too organized for me!

  5. Infuriating.
Have you tried going back to bed and sneezing a lot ? Might jolt your memory.

  9. I often have a poem a’floating round my head
As I lie oh some warm on my pillow in my bed.

Then I wake up in the morning and it’s gone….

    Bless you.

And don’t say thank you, you’ll kill a fairy.

PS: I do that all the time. I’ve often thought about BM’s idea, but Hubby would probably object to me whispering away to it in the middle of the night. Sure it’ll come back you you x
