Wednesday miscellany XVI

If you do one thing this week you must do this: Do Christmas shopping early. C’mon, you know it make sense.

Posts I’ve liked in the last week:

Cow curiosity fail - but of course!
Alice gives us some tips for when going to restaurants
Blood Red Roses has a hissy fit at an umberella
Alcoholic Daze reveals why she started her blog
Jenn shows us how to fail
*NEW* Nunhead Ramblings *NEW* goes has a panic about school (sort of)
Bush Mummy goes back to nature
GrannyMar shares a great recipe
Patroclus liveblogs labour
Ben gives us an unemployment survival guide

Did you know? About one person in 30 is colour blind. More men than women are affected by colour blindness.

Random Nuttycow fact: I used to have to wear an eye patch when I was younger. And no, I’m not a pirate.

Random twitter update seen this week

“Always nice when the eyebrow waxing results in both tears *and* scabs.” We now all have to feel sorry for gordonshumway

Last text message received: ”H did mention that he saw N with his trousers ripped at the knees. How did that happen” [you just don't want to know!]

Last text message sent: “Do you still need me tonight?” [sounds dirtier than I meant it to]

Last thought before publishing: Thursdays *are* the Wednesdays. Right? Ok, just me then.

  1. Ben says:

    Thanks for the plug :)

Can I leverage my way into a television personality spreading tips for efficient unemployment?

  2. Grannymar says:

    Hi Nutty,

    Thanks for the link.

Plenty of new material for me to catch up on here.

  3. Paiula says:

“About one person in 30 is colour blind. More men than women are affected by colour blindness.”

Which just proves it’s pointless to ask a bloke for his opinion on anything fashion-related . . .

  4. Thanks for the link love :) I plan on starting my Xmas shopping early. I’m already thinking of gift ideas.

  5. L.C.T. says:

    I’m colourblind :) And female!

    I’ve missed Wednesday Miscellany!

  6. Mud says:

I had an eye patch as well! My mum used to make them out of wrapping paper to keep me amused. Although why a small child with a cut out Father Christmas over one eye was going to get any less hassle at school, I don’t know.

Ben – I think you might be onto something there Ben. Ben’s Dossing Dropouts. Or similar.

    Grannymar – you’re very welcome :)

Pauila – *another* reason not to ask a man about anything fashion related!

F&F – I love to give you link love

LCT – Wow. I don’t think I know anyone who’s colour blind. What colour is my blog?

Mud – Your mum sounds *way* cool.
