The bank holiday promise glistens in the air and I, despite having been away for most of the week, have still found time to pummel you with my own personal loves of the week.
Posts and pages I’ve liked in the last week:
Rot Watch – I’m Lindi, fire me
Milla – Trolley Dolly
Status Anxiety – You were beautiful
If you are flawed, you are not free – The good, the bad and the ugly
Katy at a Lard Off My Mind - C*nts – they’ve got our garage forecourts (yes, I know it’s won post of the week and yes I know I had her last week but is it my fault that I like what she writes?!)
Reluctant Memsahib - Letting in the light
Did you know? Statues of people on horses mean different things depending on the position of the horse. If the horse is rearing, the person riding it died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.
Random Nuttycow fact: Despite my bravado, I’m slightly dreading going on tour this weekend.
Random twitter update seen this week: You’re just saying that ’cause he tongue kissed you goodbye…
Last text message received: The day has arrived. Catch you later. The Stig.
Last text message sent: Wearing my moo feet, just for you. We’ll be down in about half an hour. Will you come down?
Last thought before publishing: Can my liver cope?

Thanks for the link love!

F&F – you’re very welcome
Brit’ Gal – I love that fact… it puts the statues around London in a completely different light (PS I love the fact you’re so Brit’ that you put the apostrophe after the “t” to signify there are missing letters!)
Milla – It always rains on Bank Holidays, you know this! It’s England!

I’ve heard that horse statue fact before, I always wondered if it meant (about the horse with four legs on the ground) that the person died of natural causes WHILE at war? Like having a heart attack after seeing hundreds of crazy Mel “Braveheart” Gibsons?
